I earned my Bachelor's degree in Geoinformatics Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (Pakistan). My undergraduate studies mainly focused on Geoinformatics, and I was mainly trained in Programming, Geographic Information Systems and GIS Automation. I hold a Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS from National University of Sciences and Technology (Pakistan). Currently, I am a PhD student at The University of Alabama Department of Geography and the Environment. During my Ph.D. and after, I intend to work on the intersection of remote sensing, machine learning and agriculture. This includes applications of powerful machine learning/deep learning algorithms on remote sensing data for crop yield predictions and other parameters related to food security and policymaking.
