About

I am a Ph.D. student at the Department of Geography and the Environment, UA, specializing in flood inundation mapping. My academic journey began with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in civil engineering, where I focused on hydraulics and fluid mechanics. My current research explores the integration of advanced hydrologic and hydrodynamic models with emerging machine learning techniques to enhance flood forecasting accuracy. By refining early warning systems and informing disaster management strategies, I aim to reduce flood-related risks and improve community resilience.
