Undergraduate major Kimberly Brothers was recently selected to participate in an internship as part of the Significant Opportunities in Atmospheric Research and Science (SOARS) program through the National Center for Atmospheric Research. Brothers is currently studying weather types responsible for intense precipitation events in Southern California with Dr. Jason Senkbeil.
