A map submitted by geography undergraduate student Chris Brown won first prize in the National Bizarre Map Challenge sponsored by the National GeoTech Center and San Diego State University. The map was titled Alligator Bayou and was created for a spatial investigation of French longlots in coastal Louisiana. The first place prize was $5,000. Congratulations Chris.
